My 4-year-old has been stacking these for an hour straight, and the pieces are smoother than I expected for the price. The red tray keeps all 54 blocks contained, which honestly saves me from stepping on them.

My 3-year-old ignores her plastic toys now and goes straight for these blocks every morning. The 54 pieces are enough to build a whole little castle, and they stack without sliding apart. The red tray makes cleanup actually manageable, which I didn't expect to care about.

The wood smell is genuinely nice, not that fake lacquer thing you get with cheaper sets. My only gripe is the tray — it's a bit shallow, so the blocks slide out when my son carries it around. Still, they stack well and the edges are smooth enough that I don't worry about splinters.
