My two-year-old stacks these for almost an hour without getting bored, which never happens with her other toys. The blocks are smooth with no splinters, and the blue tray keeps all 54 pieces from scattering across the floor.

The smell of real wood hit me as soon as I opened the tray, and my toddler went straight for the blocks. The natural colours are lovely and muted, nothing like the bright plastic stuff we had before. The blue tray keeps all 54 pieces together, which honestly saves me at cleanup time.

I wasn't expecting the blocks to actually smell like fresh-cut wood when I opened the tray, but they do. My three-year-old has been stacking them into towers for an hour straight, and the 54 pieces give her plenty to work with. The blue tray keeps everything tidy when she's done.
